Diesel Generator Service Engineer

• Maintain existing client relationships and support business expansion
• Implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for generator systems
• Ensure cost-effective installations and smooth commissioning processes
• Collaborate with sales, customer service teams, and branch managers
• Deliver high-quality service with minimal downtime and prompt response
• Prospect and secure service opportunities with corporate clients
• Monitor competitors and identify value-adding service improvements
• Ensure accurate job planning, execution, and reporting
• Handle technical complaints and provide effective solutions
• Conduct load audits, site inspections, and prepare cost estimates
• Perform generator repairs, overhauling, and routine maintenance
• Manage warranty-related service issues
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on generator stock
• Handle generator rental sourcing and management
• Ensure proper documentation including job cards and technical reports
• Coordinate with procurement on parts and materials
• Maintain discipline, safety standards, and professional conduct on sites

• HND or B.Sc in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years experience in diesel generator maintenance and repair
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical and generator systems
• Good communication and client relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage field operations effectively
