Crane Operator

Dangote Group is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to support its plant operations in Ibese. The role requires a highly skilled operator with extensive hands-on experience in heavy-duty crane operations, particularly within industrial and construction environments.

• Operate truck-mounted telescopic boom cranes safely and efficiently
• Handle lifting and movement of heavy materials within the plant
• Operate and manage crane models including Zoomlion, Faun, and XCMG (up to 100-ton capacity)
• Perform basic operations of articulated cranes (Hydra/Farana)
• Assist in safe material handling and site operations
• Conduct routine checks and ensure crane equipment is in good working condition
• Follow strict safety procedures and operational guidelines at all times
• Support additional logistics tasks such as basic forklift operations when required

• Valid Trade Test Certificate
• Valid Heavy Duty Driving Licence
• Minimum of 10 years hands-on experience in crane operations
• Strong experience with truck-mounted telescopic boom cranes
• Proficiency in operating Zoomlion, Faun, and XCMG cranes (up to 100-ton capacity)
• Working knowledge of articulated cranes (Hydra/Farana)
• Basic forklift operation skills
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
