Nurse, Nutrition

International Medical Corps is seeking a qualified Nurse, Nutrition to manage and support the treatment of acute malnutrition within health services. The role focuses on delivering nutrition care, managing medical complications, and supporting recovery for malnourished children while ensuring compliance with established protocols.

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and monitor vital signs of patients
• Administer medications including antibiotics, antimalarials, and anthelminthics according to protocols
• Prepare and provide therapeutic feeds and appropriate treatments for malnourished children
• Monitor and document daily nutritional status of patients
• Deliver nutrition counselling and health education to caregivers
• Ensure availability and proper management of nutrition supplies and medications
• Liaise with medical teams to ensure smooth operation of the stabilization centre
• Maintain accurate patient records and update case files regularly
• Ensure proper admission, discharge, and transfer procedures are followed
• Compile and report data on patient outcomes and program activities
• Track and report supply usage
• Support team members through knowledge sharing and capacity building

• Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
• Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license
• Minimum of 2 years experience in CMAM and IYCF programmes
• Strong report writing and documentation skills
• Fluency in English and relevant local language
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments
