Senior Electrician

Viramsun Nigeria Limited, a trading company involved in importation of goods, is seeking an experienced Senior Electrician to handle industrial electrical systems, equipment maintenance, and fault resolution within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on minimizing downtime and ensuring safe, efficient operations.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in machinery and industrial equipment
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to reduce downtime
• Maintain and service electrical panels, wiring, and control systems
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance activities
• Handle electrical issues across industrial equipment including generators, transformers, chillers, and control systems
• Work with injection molding and stretch blow molding machines
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as an electrician in a manufacturing environment (plastic industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Good understanding of safety procedures and standards
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Strong technical proficiency in industrial equipment maintenance

• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for industrial machinery
• Experience with equipment such as hopper loaders, cooling towers, generators, transformers, chillers, hot runner controllers, grinders, and mixers
• Team player with strong coordination skills
• High sense of responsibility and reliability
• Attention to detail and strong safety awareness
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle pressure
