Welder

Sunplast, a leading plastic manufacturing company in Nigeria, is seeking a skilled Welder to support maintenance and fabrication activities within its production facility. The role involves repairing equipment, performing welding tasks, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.

• Perform welding and fabrication for maintenance and repair operations
• Support mechanical breakdown and preventive maintenance activities
• Repair damaged machinery, equipment, structures, and components
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Ensure all welding work meets required quality and safety standards
• Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition
• Assist in fast response to equipment breakdowns in the plant

• Relevant certification in welding or fabrication
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (plastic industry is an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
• Ability to support breakdown and preventive maintenance work
• Good understanding of workplace safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment
