General Manager (Export Operations)

Workforce Group is seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead and scale its export operations. The role requires a strategic leader with strong expertise in commodities or minerals export, responsible for driving growth, ensuring compliance, and overseeing end-to-end operational performance in a fast-paced global trade environment.

• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand export operations
• Oversee cross-functional teams including logistics, finance, procurement, compliance, and marketing
• Manage relationships with suppliers, regulators, and logistics partners
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, and profitability management
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, safety, and regulatory standards
• Identify new market opportunities through research and competitor analysis
• Drive operational efficiency and business growth initiatives
• Build and maintain a high-performance, accountable team culture

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (advanced certifications are an advantage)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in minerals or commodities export
• Strong leadership and proven business growth track record
• In-depth knowledge of export operations, trade regulations, and logistics
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities
