Subject Matter Expert (Mass Communication)

Miva Open University, a Pan-African distance learning institution under the uLesson Group, is recruiting Subject Matter Experts in Mass Communication to support the development of high-quality digital academic content and curriculum for learners across Africa.

• Develop, review, and refine mass communication course content for online learning programs
• Ensure academic accuracy, relevance, and alignment with curriculum standards
• Contribute to structured and engaging learning materials
• Conduct quality assurance of instructional content
• Collaborate with academic teams to enhance learner engagement and outcomes
• Apply digital tools and AI technologies in content development where applicable

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred)
• Teaching experience is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of mass communication principles and media studies
• Excellent writing and academic content development skills
• Strong understanding of curriculum design and learner engagement strategies
• High attention to detail and quality assurance capability
• Tech-savvy with familiarity in digital learning tools and AI platforms
