Vendor Management Officer

GKT Consults Limited is looking to hire a Vendor Management Officer in Lagos to oversee vendor engagement, ensure service compliance, and support smooth operational coordination within its transport and logistics services.

• The role involves managing vendor onboarding and ensuring effective service delivery across assigned categories.
• Responsible for maintaining strong working relationships with all approved vendors and acting as the main point of contact.
• Expected to handle negotiation of pricing structures and service-level agreements with vendors.
• Required to monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to company standards and operational guidelines.
• Will be responsible for resolving service-related issues and operational escalations in a timely manner.
• Tasked with coordinating logistics processes to ensure prompt fulfillment of client requirements.
• Expected to maintain accurate documentation of vendor activities and performance reports.
• Responsible for identifying areas of improvement to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
• 2–4 years experience in vendor management, operations, or partnership coordination
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
• Good organizational and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
