Storekeeper

Eric Kayser Nigeria, a premium French bakery brand, is seeking a detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage inventory, ensure proper storage of goods, and support smooth kitchen and service operations.

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders
• Ensure proper storage of food items, beverages, and supplies following hygiene standards
• Maintain organized, clean, and well-labeled storage areas
• Issue stock to kitchen and service teams based on approved requests
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or reorder needs
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Enforce FIFO system for perishable items
• Track expiry dates and prevent use of expired products
• Minimize wastage, damage, and stock loss
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store environment
• Prepare regular inventory reports (daily, weekly, monthly)

• Minimum of SSCE (additional inventory or supply chain certification is an advantage)
• Previous experience as a Storekeeper in restaurant, hotel, or retail setting
• Basic understanding of stock control and inventory management
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
• Basic computer literacy (Excel or inventory systems)
