Structural Engineer

Adkan Service Nigeria Limited is seeking a qualified Structural Engineer to design, evaluate, and supervise structural elements of construction projects, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with engineering standards.

• Design and analyze structural components for buildings and infrastructure projects
• Prepare structural drawings, calculations, and technical specifications
• Review architectural plans to ensure structural stability and feasibility
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress for compliance
• Perform structural assessments and recommend repairs or improvements
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders
• Provide technical support to site teams and resolve structural issues
• Prepare reports, documentation, and project progress updates

• B.Sc. or HND in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 4–6 years relevant experience in structural engineering
• Strong knowledge of structural design and analysis principles
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, STAAD Pro, or similar software
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and calculations
• Good understanding of construction materials and methods
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High professionalism and integrity

NOTE: COREN or NSE professional certification

Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects

Familiarity with Nigerian building codes and international standards

Experience in site supervision and project coordination
