Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural components for buildings and infrastructure projects
- Prepare structural drawings, calculations, and technical specifications
- Review architectural plans to ensure structural stability and feasibility
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress for compliance
- Perform structural assessments and recommend repairs or improvements
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders
- Provide technical support to site teams and resolve structural issues
- Prepare reports, documentation, and project progress updates
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. or HND in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 4–6 years relevant experience in structural engineering
- Strong knowledge of structural design and analysis principles
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, STAAD Pro, or similar software
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and calculations
- Good understanding of construction materials and methods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High professionalism and integrity
NOTE: COREN or NSE professional certification
Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
Familiarity with Nigerian building codes and international standards
