ICT Officer

Stella Maris Schools is seeking a competent ICT Officer to manage, maintain, and secure its IT systems, provide technical support, and ensure smooth digital operations across the school’s infrastructure.

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, printers, and network systems
• Manage LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and other networking infrastructure
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Implement cybersecurity measures including firewalls and antivirus systems
• Maintain IT asset inventory including hardware and software licenses
• Ensure smooth operation of website, email systems, and databases
• Perform routine system maintenance and updates
• Train staff on the use of ICT tools and systems
• Document ICT procedures, policies, and technical processes
• Support procurement and implementation of new technology solutions

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 1–5 years experience in IT support or systems administration
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and networking systems
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or CompTIA are an advantage
