Job Summary

Stockgap Fuels Limited is seeking an LPG Operator to support daily terminal operations, ensuring safe and efficient handling of LPG processes. The role involves monitoring systems, managing cargo transfers, maintaining equipment checks, and ensuring strict compliance with HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily LPG terminal operational activities under the Terminal Manager’s supervision
  • Operate and monitor the terminal’s distributed control system
  • Execute LPG loading and discharge activities according to operational and HSE procedures
  • Manage cargo receipt operations including odorizing, decanting, gasification, and vapor recovery
  • Perform daily stock reconciliation, transfer reconciliation, and month-end inventory checks
  • Operate propane vaporizer equipment and ensure correct delivery pressure and temperature to customers
  • Monitor and adjust gas supply conditions for utility clients and gas turbines
  • Operate boilers and steam systems to ensure continuous vaporization processes
  • Conduct routine inspection of pumps, compressors, pipelines, flares, and safety equipment
  • Carry out minor repairs, calibration, and equipment adjustments where required
  • Support maintenance engineers during technical interventions
  • Perform routine testing of fire-fighting systems and safety detection equipment

Required Qualifications

  • B.Eng or HND in Engineering or related discipline
  • 1–3 years of experience in oil and gas, engineering, or related industrial operations
  • Strong understanding of industrial facilities, machines, and operational equipment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work effectively in operational environments
  • Willingness to train, mentor, and collaborate with teams
  • Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
