Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues involving routers, switches, and transmission links
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring network faults
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve incidents
- Support network maintenance activities and system upgrades
- Update and maintain network documentation and monitoring tools
- Mentor and provide guidance to Level 1 NOC engineers
- Prepare incident reports and network performance summaries
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 3 to 5 years experience in network operations or ISP environment
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, GPON)
- Experience with network monitoring tools and ITIL frameworks
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, HCIA, or HCIP are an added advantage
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 shift environment
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Leadership and mentoring capability
