Network Design Engineer

Glone General Merchandize is seeking a Network Design Engineer to design and plan enterprise-level network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, RF systems, and fiber backbone solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Design Wi-Fi networks including RF planning, heatmaps, and access point placement
• Develop High-Level and Low-Level Network Designs (HLD/LLD)
• Plan and design fiber optic backbone infrastructure
• Conduct site surveys and prepare detailed technical reports
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BoMs) for network deployments
• Collaborate with deployment and operations teams during execution
• Ensure network designs meet performance, coverage, and cost requirements
• Provide technical support during implementation and project handover

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
• 4 to 6 years experience in network design or wireless engineering
• Strong experience with RF planning tools such as Ekahau
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi standards (Wi-Fi 6/6E) and RF principles
• Experience in fiber optic network design
• Good understanding of IP networking (VLANs, routing, etc.)
• Proficiency in design tools such as Visio or AutoCAD
• At least one certification required: Ekahau ECSE (preferred), CWNA, or CCNA/CCNP (Wireless)
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work with teams effectively
