Key Responsibilities
- Ability to operate and work with various printing machines (e.g., Kord, Speedmaster, Web, DI, etc.).
- Ability to manage and execute the transition from DI to plate-based printing.
- Strong finishing skills, including knowledge of binding types and materials.
- Good understanding of the management of paper, ink, and manpower to ensure quality output.
- Ability to work extended hours, including round-the-clock operations, to deliver sensitive materials.
- Ensure accurate color calibration (CMYK) to match original outputs.
- Supervise operators and meet production timelines.
Required Qualifications
Requirements
- HND/BSc in Printing Technology, Printing Engineering/Graphics or related field.
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in a commercial or security printing company.
- Solid knowledge of Printing processes (pre-press, press, post-press)
- Color calibration and quality control
- Hands-on experience with offset and/or digital printing machines.
- Understanding of printing materials (paper types, inks, plates).
- Familiarity with press setup, plate making, and finishing processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machine and production issues.
