Deputy Manager, Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to operate and work with various printing machines (e.g., Kord, Speedmaster, Web, DI, etc.).
• Ability to manage and execute the transition from DI to plate-based printing.
• Strong finishing skills, including knowledge of binding types and materials.
• Good understanding of the management of paper, ink, and manpower to ensure quality output.
• Ability to work extended hours, including round-the-clock operations, to deliver sensitive materials.
• Ensure accurate color calibration (CMYK) to match original outputs.
• Supervise operators and meet production timelines.

Requirements

• HND/BSc in Printing Technology, Printing Engineering/Graphics or related field.
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in a commercial or security printing company.
• Solid knowledge of Printing processes (pre-press, press, post-press)
• Color calibration and quality control
• Hands-on experience with offset and/or digital printing machines.
• Understanding of printing materials (paper types, inks, plates).
• Familiarity with press setup, plate making, and finishing processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic machine and production issues.
