Finance Manager (Upstream Oil & Gas)

A company in the upstream oil and gas sector is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, and compliance. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional with strong industry knowledge and the ability to support strategic business growth.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning activities
• Prepare and oversee financial reports in line with IFRS standards
• Manage cash flow, cost control, and capital expenditure
• Handle audits, tax processes, and regulatory compliance
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions and growth
• Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Strong background in upstream oil and gas (EPICM experience is an advantage)
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA is required
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations
• Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus
• Strong analytical and leadership skills
