Head of Engineering Department

The Head of Engineering leads the technical department, overseeing security equipment installations, maintenance programs, and emergency repairs, while ensuring high-quality service and regulatory compliance.

Direct daily operations of the engineering department

Develop and implement technical operational policies and procedures

Drive continuous improvement through KPIs and Lean initiatives

Serve as technical advisor on new security technologies

Oversee design, installation, testing, and commissioning of security systems

Manage preventative maintenance schedules for client assets

Act as escalation point for complex faults or urgent repairs

Ensure compliance with local safety standards and regulations

Coordinate surveys, BOQs, and technical proposals for new clients

Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and OEMs

Manage, mentor, and evaluate technical staff

Develop training curriculums for the engineering team

Prepare and manage departmental budget and inventory

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering

10+ years technical experience, including 4–5 years in senior management within a security systems company

Hands-on experience with CCTV, IP Access Control, Intrusion Systems, and TCP/IP networking

Professional certifications (PSIRA, PSP, CISSP) advantageous

Proficiency in CMMS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
