Survey & Network Design Engineer

Timeless Telecoms Limited, a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Nigeria, is seeking a Survey & Network Design Engineer to support network planning and deployment. The role involves site surveys, network design development, quality assurance, and collaboration with field teams to ensure reliable and standards-compliant network infrastructure.

Develop network designs using tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, and GIS.

Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs), schematic diagrams, and project scopes.

Ensure all network designs comply with industry standards and best practices.

Revise and improve designs based on field feedback and operational requirements.

Conduct site assessments for LAN, WLAN, GPON, and CCTV deployments.

Capture geo-coordinates, terrain layout, and document site conditions during surveys.

Share real-time field data with the design team to support project planning.

Inspect installations to ensure adherence to required standards.

Identify installation issues (snags) and confirm corrective actions.

Prepare quality assurance and compliance reports.

Maintain safety, performance, and operational standards across network deployments.

BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years experience in network design and implementation.

Proficiency in fiber-optic and wireless network design.

Experience using network design tools such as Visio, Edraw, or AutoCAD.

Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are an added advantage.

Experience with network simulation tools is desirable.

Knowledge of local telecommunications regulations is beneficial.
