FirstExcelsia is seeking a Relationship Manager (SME) to build and manage strong relationships with Small and Medium Enterprise clients within the microfinance sector. The role focuses on portfolio growth, delivering tailored financial solutions, managing risks, and ensuring excellent client satisfaction while driving revenue and deposit targets.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential SME clients.
Serve as the primary contact for SME customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Conduct regular client visits and relationship reviews to understand business needs and recommend suitable financial solutions.
Identify and onboard new SME clients to expand the organization’s portfolio.
Promote and cross-sell financial products such as loans, deposits, trade finance, treasury services, and digital banking solutions.
Perform credit analysis and prepare credit proposals in line with lending policies and risk guidelines.
Monitor credit facilities and ensure timely renewals in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Achieve assigned revenue, deposit mobilization, and loan growth targets.
Required Qualifications
NCE, ND, HND, or B.Sc in a relevant discipline.
2–3 years experience in sales or business development within a financial institution.
Strong relationship management and client engagement skills.
Good understanding of SME banking products and credit processes.
Ability to identify new business opportunities and drive portfolio growth.
