Scruples Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Wells Advisor to provide expert guidance on drilling and completion operations. The role involves mentoring engineers, supporting well planning and design, and ensuring drilling programs are executed safely and efficiently across multiple operations.

Key Responsibilities
Provide expert advisory support on drilling, well construction, and completion operations.
Mentor and guide less experienced drilling and completion engineers.
Oversee drilling programs to ensure consistent practices across multiple rig operations.
Collaborate with business units and affiliates on logistics, regulatory compliance, environmental matters, procurement, and cost management.
Lead long-term engineering studies and team performance improvement initiatives.
Identify and implement strategies to improve drilling and completion operational efficiency.
Participate in vendor clarifications, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and equipment package approvals.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and respond to deviation requests.
Address human factors engineering and ensure safety of personnel and equipment in collaboration with relevant teams.
Support the development and review of commissioning and system integration test procedures.
Provide support during construction and commissioning activities when required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Civil Engineering).
Minimum of 3 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
Strong analytical and computing skills.
Experience in construction site management and drilling well site design is preferred.
Extensive experience in drilling rig development including FEED, detailed design, construction, and commissioning.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage work schedules effectively.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams with multiple stakeholders.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, SAE, ASTM, ABS, DNV, SOLAS, and IMO.
Knowledge of offshore oil and gas regulatory requirements.
