Cost / Schedule / Controls Engineer

Scruples Resources Limited is seeking a Cost / Schedule / Controls Engineer to support project cost estimation, scheduling, and control processes for offshore operations. The role involves coordinating cost estimates, monitoring project schedules, maintaining change control, and supporting financial reporting to ensure projects meet cost and timeline objectives.

Prepare and coordinate cost estimates for company-operated and other builder operator (OBO) projects.

Conduct estimating oversight and quality assurance reviews for project milestones and funding gates.

Prepare check estimates and schedules to compare with OBO operator submissions.

Participate in project cost and schedule assessments to verify project bases.

Maintain change control systems and prepare cost reports.

Work closely with project estimators, planners, schedulers, and the client’s accounting staff.

Coordinate and assemble monthly project progress reports.

Support regulated and non-regulated accounting reporting requirements.

Collaborate with project managers and team leads to monitor project performance.

Participate in estimating process improvement initiatives and quality assurance reviews.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

Previous experience in a similar role involving project controls or cost estimation.

Advanced proficiency in cost estimating, project planning, and project controls.

Strong analytical, computing, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent negotiation, consulting, and mentoring abilities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and manage cross-functional activities.

Adaptability to changing project priorities.
