Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all statutory tax returns
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations and ensure company compliance
Lead and manage tax audits, respond to queries, and close audit issues promptly
Liaise with tax authorities and external consultants on audits, assessments, and inquiries
Manage tax computations and reconciliations for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or Finance
7 – 10 years of relevant work experience
Professional membership of ICAN, ACCA, or CITN
Strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory frameworks
Experience handling tax audits with FIRS and State tax authorities
