Job Summary

Prudential Plc is seeking experienced Zonal Sales Managers to drive sales performance, expand coverage, and lead teams of Financial Sales Executives (FSEs) across multiple locations in Nigeria. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, optimizing processes, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.



Key Responsibilities


Drive sales performance to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets


Oversee and expand sales coverage across assigned zones


Ensure efficient, ethical, and compliant sales processes in line with NAICOM regulations


Build and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders


Train, lead, and coach FSEs to improve retention, productivity, and skill development


Track, analyze, and report sales trends in assigned locations


Identify risks and implement strategic actions to mitigate impacts on sales


Provide insights and regular reports to Regional Sales Manager & Bancassurance Sales Manager


Collaborate with Commercial Business Support, Bancassurance Recruitment & Training, and other service lines to optimize sales and FSE retention


Identify new market opportunities to expand the customer base


Foster a high-performance culture with accountability and engagement among FSEs


Manage branch selling tools and support proper submission



Required Qualifications

B.Sc. in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Insurance, or related field (minimum 2:2)


CIIN or related professional certification is an advantage


Experience / Knowledge:


Minimum 5 years’ sales experience, preferably in insurance


Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and managing agencies


In-depth knowledge of life insurance products


Skills & Competencies:


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Strong leadership, team management, and influence abilities


Negotiation and relationship management skills


Analytical, strategic thinking, and business acumen


Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and related technology
