The Credit Officer will be responsible for sourcing loan clients, managing disbursements, monitoring repayments, and ensuring effective loan recovery. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet targets within assigned territories.
Source and onboard qualified loan clients
Process loan disbursements according to company policy
Monitor repayments and ensure timely collections
Conduct client verification and basic risk assessments
Maintain accurate documentation and repayment records
Follow up on overdue accounts and recover outstanding loans
Prepare daily and weekly performance reports for management
OND or SSCE with relevant experience
Experience in micro-lending, sales, or loan collections is an advantage
Target-driven, trustworthy, and street-smart
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Must reside in Lagos and know the areas of Alimosho, Agege, or Ikeja
