This role focuses on maintaining accurate daily financial and inventory records for the restaurant and bar. The Bookkeeper/Records Officer ensures that all sales, expenses, and stock movements are properly captured and reported to support smooth financial operations. The position does not involve cash handling but is centered on documentation, accountability, and reporting integrity.
Capture all daily sales entries from every sales channel.
Document daily expenditures with correct categorization and verification.
Monitor stock usage, consumption patterns, and replenishment needs.
Keep well-organized records of purchases, supplies, and inventory activities.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the Accountant.
Reconcile sales information with stock data to ensure consistency.
Identify and report discrepancies or irregular stock movements.
Provide timely financial information to support the Accountant’s activities.
Maintain a structured archiving system for all financial and stock documents.
Uphold confidentiality and integrity in managing company records.
OND, HND, or B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Basic understanding of bookkeeping or record management.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with bookkeeping tools is an advantage.
Strong communication and reporting ability.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
