This role involves managing financial records, accounting operations, and reporting for a surgical specialist hospital. The Accountant will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes while supporting the hospital’s strategic and operational objectives.
Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements, records, and reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Maintain accurate healthcare billing and revenue records.
Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
Utilize accounting software to maintain records and generate reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
Valid membership with a recognized accounting body.
Experience in healthcare accounting, hospital finance, or medical billing is advantageous.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
