Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

The Concept Group, established in 1992, is a holding company with subsidiaries including Rosabon Financial Services, Concept Nova, and Percy Aitkins. We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide strategic and technical leadership across all technology operations, driving innovation, product development, and IT excellence. The CTO will oversee software development, ensure adherence to industry standards, manage technology teams, and align technology initiatives with the Group’s business objectives.

• Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy in line with business goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, engineers, and IT specialists.
• Oversee the development, enhancement, and innovation of software products and solutions tailored to the financial sector.
• Define and maintain technology architecture and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews and implement quality assurance processes to maintain high coding standards.
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including system architecture, design documents, and user guides.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial technology regulations, data privacy standards, and cybersecurity practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, clients, and regulators to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
• Oversee technology project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Manage vendor relationships, evaluate proposals, and ensure service-level agreement compliance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices, recommending strategic technology investments.
• Lead recruitment, training, and development of technical talent to enhance team performance and capability.
• Develop and manage the technology budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-effective solutions.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, encouraging skills enhancement and adoption of new technologies.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in technology leadership roles, preferably with experience in finance or technology solutions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of software development frameworks, database systems, web technologies, and relevant industry tools.
• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, manage technology projects, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
