Job Summary

We are seeking a capable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our Logistics Department in East Cowes. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment with excellent training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities


  • Follow standard material handling procedures in compliance with safety and quality guidelines.
  • Manage the movement, storage, and dispatch of materials efficiently and accurately.
  • Record all material transactions, including receipts and bookings, using internal systems.
  • Support logistics operations such as receiving, storing, locating, and tracking stock.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with physical stock counts.
  • Operate handling equipment safely; forklift training can be provided if required.
  • Contribute to team performance through problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Health & Safety standards.




Required Qualifications


  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or materials handling environment.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Dependable and flexible, with the ability to work shifts when required.
  • Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
  • A valid B1 forklift or crane sling licence is an advantage but not essential.
