Financial Controller

Summary:

Splitters Nigeria Ltd is seeking a Financial Controller with a strong finance and accounting background to oversee restaurant operations, cash flow, and internal controls while providing actionable financial insights.

Manage full month-end and year-end financial reporting.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and perform variance analysis.

Oversee payables, receivables, and cash management.

Design and strengthen internal controls.

Monitor food, labour, and operational costs.

Review inventory processes for accuracy.

Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Support management with financial insights and strategic recommendations.

Ensure timely statutory filings and documentation.

5 to 8 years of experience in finance or accounting, with strong controls and reporting expertise.

Experience in hospitality, FMCG, or retail is advantageous.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Confidence in challenging discrepancies and ensuring financial accuracy.

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.

Ability to build systems that maintain financial health.
