Job Summary


The Chief of Staff will act as the CEO’s strategic and operational partner, managing priorities, driving execution, and ensuring disciplined follow-through on key initiatives. This role requires discretion, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality.






Key Responsibilities


Coordinate and monitor execution of the CEO’s strategic priorities and directives


Manage communication, information flow, and action tracking across business units


Prepare high-quality briefs, reports, and presentations for board, government, and partner engagements


Conduct business research and provide analytical insights to support decision-making


Anticipate operational needs and proactively recommend solutions


Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders


Ensure the CEO’s office operates efficiently, with clarity and accountability

Required Qualifications


10–12 years’ experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate planning, or senior operational roles


Experience working directly with board-level executives


Familiarity with services-focused sectors; exposure to international best practices and local commercial operations in Nigeria


Graduate degree required; MBA or master’s preferred


Advanced Excel and presentation design skills; project management tools knowledge is a plus


Composed, assertive, tactically sound, and able to manage up, across, and down


Strong situational awareness, emotional intelligence, and organizational skills


Highly dependable, proactive, and discreet
