Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR & Leadership: Lead workforce planning, define multi-year HR strategies, design organizational structures, manage change initiatives, and advise executives on people-related risks and opportunities.
- Talent Acquisition & Mobility: Oversee end-to-end recruitment for senior and critical roles, build talent pools, manage employer branding, implement mobility frameworks, and ensure consistent and fair selection standards.
- Performance, Rewards & Development: Manage performance cycles, develop compensation and benefits frameworks, oversee leadership development and succession programs, and monitor ROI on learning and development initiatives.
- Employee Relations, Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour law, lead disciplinary and grievance processes, conduct HR audits, draft and review HR policies, and advise on industrial relations strategies.
- People Operations & HR Technology: Oversee HRIS strategy, ensure accurate payroll and benefits administration, implement process improvements, and deliver key HR reports and dashboards.
- Team & Stakeholder Management: Line-manage and coach HR team, provide manager trainings, serve as HR representative on the senior management team, and partner with external HR, legal, and tax advisors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in senior HR leadership.
- Proven experience managing multi-site or multi-subsidiary HR operations, ideally in real estate, hospitality, or services.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour law, statutory obligations, HR compliance, and HRIS systems.
- Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills.
