Palm Springs Preparatory School, located in the heart of Abuja, provides a serene and conducive learning environment. The school seeks a qualified School Nurse to deliver healthcare services, manage student wellness, and support staff and student health needs.

• Provide basic healthcare and first aid to students in cases of injury or illness.
• Educate students and staff on healthy habits, nutrition, hygiene, and mental health awareness.
• Maintain and monitor students’ vaccination and medical records.
• Develop care plans for students with ongoing medical conditions.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and staff regarding student health and care.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor adherence.
• Conduct regular health screenings to detect early signs of health problems.
• Ensure compliance with national and local health regulations.
• Promote a safe school environment and implement measures to prevent communicable diseases.
• Refer students to pediatricians or other healthcare specialists when necessary.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS / CPR certification.
• Knowledge of multiple health areas including mental health.
• Understanding of school health policies and regulations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good judgment, listening skills, and ability to respond quickly in emergencies.
