ClubZella Inc., creators of the Afro-fantasy comic universe Orisha Warz, is seeking a Comic Graphic Designer to manage the final visual production stage of each comic release. The role involves refining layouts, designing supplementary pages, and preparing files for both print and digital distribution.
* Finalize comic layouts and apply needed design overlays such as sound effects and call-to-action elements.
* Create additional pages including title, credits, recap, and ensure they match the project’s visual style.
* Conduct thorough quality checks before every release.
* Work closely with the Art Director and Editor during the review process.
* Produce export files that meet print and digital publishing requirements.
* Previous experience in comic design, layout, or production finishing.
* Strong command of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Clip Studio Paint.
* Familiarity with print standards including CMYK, bleed, and resolution settings, as well as digital publishing formats.
* Strong eye for typography, composition, and visual storytelling.
* Good communication habits and strong file-management skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Familiarity with Afrofantasy or culturally rooted visual storytelling is an advantage.
