Job Summary

Temple Investments is a leading Ghanaian investment banking and advisory firm specializing in capital markets, fund management, private equity, and sustainable finance. Through its Financial Inclusion for Last Mile Actors (FILMA) program, the firm aims to improve access to finance for underserved populations, particularly women and marginalized groups in agriculture. The Access to Finance Associate will play a key role in supporting the deployment of inclusive financial products, strengthening partnerships, and driving scalable financing solutions across Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment and monitoring of a catalytic financing facility to improve access to working capital and input credit for Last Mile Actors (LMAs).
  • Serve as liaison between the program and financial institutions, agribusinesses, and other ecosystem partners.
  • Lead and support co-investment and blended finance initiatives to unlock private capital.
  • Conduct partner due diligence, onboarding, and provide technical assistance.
  • Track and report progress against financial inclusion, gender, and job creation targets.
  • Support the rollout of inclusive insurance, micro-pension, and financial literacy programs.
  • Collaborate with MEL and Communications teams to document project outcomes and success stories.
  • Develop dashboards and tools for fund tracking and adaptive management.
  • Facilitate learning sessions, workshops, and field activities with key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Development Economics, Agribusiness, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in microfinance, agricultural finance, or blended finance.
  • Experience working with VSLAs or initiatives involving Last Mile Actors.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and co-financing projects.
  • Strong knowledge of inclusive finance and rural lending systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to rural field locations across Ghana.
  • Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or partial qualification is an added advantage.


Skills & Competencies

  • Passion for financial inclusion and gender-lens investing.
  • Experience with donor-funded projects.
  • Familiarity with Ghana’s agricultural value chains and rural enterprise development.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Fluency in English and at least one Ghanaian language is an asset.
