Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Support the deployment and monitoring of a catalytic financing facility to improve access to working capital and input credit for Last Mile Actors (LMAs).
- Serve as liaison between the program and financial institutions, agribusinesses, and other ecosystem partners.
- Lead and support co-investment and blended finance initiatives to unlock private capital.
- Conduct partner due diligence, onboarding, and provide technical assistance.
- Track and report progress against financial inclusion, gender, and job creation targets.
- Support the rollout of inclusive insurance, micro-pension, and financial literacy programs.
- Collaborate with MEL and Communications teams to document project outcomes and success stories.
- Develop dashboards and tools for fund tracking and adaptive management.
- Facilitate learning sessions, workshops, and field activities with key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Development Economics, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in microfinance, agricultural finance, or blended finance.
- Experience working with VSLAs or initiatives involving Last Mile Actors.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and co-financing projects.
- Strong knowledge of inclusive finance and rural lending systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to rural field locations across Ghana.
- Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or partial qualification is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Passion for financial inclusion and gender-lens investing.
- Experience with donor-funded projects.
- Familiarity with Ghana’s agricultural value chains and rural enterprise development.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Fluency in English and at least one Ghanaian language is an asset.
