Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain backend services, APIs, queues, and background processes
* Develop internal tools, dashboards, and interfaces for operations
* Improve system performance, monitoring, deployment, and DevOps workflows
* Handle data modeling, event tracking, and platform reliability
* Integrate payment systems, third-party APIs, and communication channels
* Participate in code reviews, documentation, and architecture decisions
Required Qualifications
*Requirements:*
* Strong backend engineering skills with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and SQL
* Experience with cloud infrastructure, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines
* Understanding of queues, background workers, retries, and fault-tolerant systems
* Experience with messaging systems or high-throughput pipelines is a plus
* Familiarity with authentication, roles/permissions, and secure API design
* Knowledge of payment integrations (Paystack or similar)
* Must be Lagos-based and comfortable with hybrid work
