Job Summary

The Plant Operations & Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing daily plant activities, ensuring all equipment runs efficiently, safely, and in compliance with standards. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain optimal equipment performance.






Key Responsibilities

* Manage daily plant operations and ensure efficient equipment usage

* Monitor equipment performance, service life, and productivity

* Oversee installation, servicing, repair, and replacement of equipment

* Troubleshoot equipment faults and implement preventive maintenance plans

* Maintain accurate records of service hours, repairs, and certifications

* Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce costs and downtime

* Enforce safety procedures and PPE regulations

* Ensure proper cleaning, storage and handling of all equipment

* Lead troubleshooting interventions and resolve technical issues promptly

* Work closely with site engineers and project teams to support operations

* Supervise technical staff to ensure reliability and high performance

* Collaborate with departments to improve workflow and reduce resource waste


Required Qualifications

* BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or related field

* Strong understanding of plant operations and construction equipment maintenance

* 5–7 years’ experience in plant operations or construction

* Knowledge of field engineering layout is an advantage
