Job Summary

Manage and oversee inventory and supplies for construction projects, ensuring materials are properly stored, tracked, and readily available to meet project demands.










Key Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy against purchase orders


Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and track material movement


Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy


Inspect materials for compliance with quality standards and document their condition


Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and discrepancies


Generate reports on inventory levels and material quality to improve processes


Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies on quality and safety


Organize and optimize storage areas with proper labeling systems


Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and Site Supervisors to forecast material needs and reorder supplies


Prepare and process purchase orders for required materials


Maintain documentation of all inventory transactions, including receipts, dispatches, and returns


Ensure safety standards are followed in storage and on construction sites

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or HND in a related field


Previous experience as a storekeeper, preferably in construction


Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software


Ability to work independently and collaboratively
