Job Summary

ABB, a global leader in electrification and automation technologies, is seeking a dynamic District Sales Manager to oversee operations within the Electrification Installation Products (ELIP) division in British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, driving business growth, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve set goals across revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities


  • Define, plan, and execute strategic sales initiatives for the British Columbia market in alignment with ABB’s overall business goals.
  • Manage channel partner relationships and direct sales activities to increase market penetration and profitability.
  • Develop and monitor business plans, performance forecasts, and annual assessments for both internal teams and external partners.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales organization to ensure consistent achievement of sales objectives.
  • Implement effective communication, marketing, and training programs to support channel growth.
  • Contribute to the regional business strategy by providing market feedback and strategic input.
  • Ensure all activities align with ABB’s commitment to quality, ethics, and operational excellence.




Required Qualifications


  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Sales Management or Business Management within the electrical or construction-related industries.
  • Strong expertise in sales strategy development, business planning, and execution.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Empower, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment and manage diverse teams across multiple locations.
