Job Summary

Sourcertz Technologies Limited is seeking an Automotive Engineer specializing in Electric Vehicles (EVs) to join their EV Service Centre. The role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing electric vehicles while maintaining high safety and quality standards in Ghana’s emerging EV market.

Key Responsibilities


Diagnose and repair electric vehicles using specialized diagnostic tools and software

Service high-voltage battery systems, electric motors, and power electronics

Perform preventive maintenance on EV charging and battery management systems

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues in EVs

Conduct safety inspections and comply with high-voltage safety protocols

Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation

Provide guidance to junior technicians

Communicate effectively with customers about EV servicing needs

Stay updated on latest EV technologies and manufacturer service bulletins


Required Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (HND considered with relevant experience)

Minimum 2–3 years of automotive repair and diagnostics experience

Knowledge of automotive systems, electric powertrains, battery systems, and charging infrastructure

Proficiency with diagnostic tools, electrical circuits, and wiring schematics

High-voltage safety awareness and willingness to obtain certification

Valid Ghana driver’s license

Experience with EVs or hybrid vehicles preferred

Manufacturer-specific EV training certificates advantageous

Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and communication skills
