Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain firmware and BMC systems for the hardware platform.
- Work with OpenBMC, Embedded Linux and BMC/IPMI/Redfish technologies.
- Develop and maintain systems using OpenSBI and U-Boot.
- Implement secure boot, firmware recovery and update mechanisms.
- Develop BMC power-control and host management functionality.
- Build and maintain telemetry systems for hardware monitoring.
- Perform hardware debugging, production flashing and provisioning.
- Support reliable firmware deployment and production readiness.
- Collaborate with hardware and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in embedded firmware or Embedded Linux engineering.
- Strong OpenBMC experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Linux BMC, IPMI and Redfish.
- Experience with Yocto and C/C++.
- Experience with OpenSBI and U-Boot.
- Hands-on experience with secure boot and firmware recovery.
- Experience in hardware debugging and production flashing/provisioning.
- Experience with BMC-to-host power and telemetry control.
- Strong embedded systems troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- International candidates are welcome, including Nigerians based abroad.
- Travel to Lagos or China will only be required when essential.
