Remote Finance & Operations Manager

Excel Health is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to build strong financial systems, manage financial activities and support sustainable growth within its health-tech startup.

Track revenue from consultations, home care services and subscriptions.

Monitor expenses, staff payments, nurse payouts, technology and marketing costs.

Prepare weekly revenue and expense summaries and monthly profit and loss reports.

Create financial dashboards to support leadership decision-making.

Support payment gateway setup and management, including Paystack and Flutterwave.

Reconcile transactions and ensure accurate payment records.

Analyse service pricing and profitability.

Maintain strong financial controls and prevent fraud or revenue leakage.

Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented.

Support operational and financial decision-making as the company scales

Background in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

Experience with startups or small businesses is preferred.

Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.

Good understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting.

Healthcare finance experience is an advantage.

Detail-oriented, organised, trustworthy and accountable.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
