Health Care Assistant

Open Hospital Limited is seeking a compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistant to support patients with daily care needs and assist nursing staff with routine clinical activities.

• Assist patients with bathing, feeding, dressing and mobility.
• Monitor and report vital signs and changes in patients’ conditions.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient areas.
• Support nursing staff with routine patient care tasks.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Ensure medical equipment and supplies are clean and ready for use.

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
• Health Care Assistance certificate or training is an advantage.
• Previous hospital, clinic or care facility experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care and infection control.
• Compassionate, reliable and patient.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform physically demanding tasks.
