Jhpiego is seeking a Program Officer to support the implementation of the Momentum Country and Global Leadership (MCGL) and RISE Integrated Health projects. The role involves program coordination, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, and stakeholder engagement across MNCH+N, immunization, and malaria programs.
Lead program coordination for MNCH+N, immunization, and malaria activities at national and state levels
Develop, implement, and monitor work plans and budgets
Coordinate technical assistance for learning activities such as webinars and technical briefs
Support technical staff in activity design, implementation, and assessment
Draft quarterly reports, annual work plans, monitoring indicators, and target implementation plans
Monitor program quality and project-level spending
Develop new program approaches linked to related services
Work with consultants to implement trainings, mentoring, and program activities
Maintain partnerships with FMOH, NPHCDA, WHO, UNICEF, CHAI, UNFPA, USG DoS IPs, RMNCAEH+N TWG, SWAp office donors, and other partners
Perform other duties as assigned
Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Public Health, Sociology, or related discipline
5+ years’ experience in program management, operations, and technical expertise, preferably in MNCH and Quality of Care programs
Experience with USG/RMNCH programs and reporting requirements
Strong knowledge of RMNCH+N, immunization, malaria, and quality of care programs
Familiarity with Nigeria’s health systems and reporting structures
Proven ability to collaborate with government officials and international partners
Excellent facilitation, team-building, coordination, technical writing, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in complex environments and travel frequently across Nigeria
