School Nurse

Startrite Schools is seeking a qualified and experienced School Nurse to provide safe, evidence-based healthcare, paediatric support, and emergency care within a school environment.

• Provide nursing care and support to learners.
• Manage school health needs and respond to medical emergencies.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing and paediatric care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with learners, families, teachers, and school staff.
• Support first aid, CPR, and emergency response activities.
• Promote safeguarding, child protection, and healthy practices.

• Registered/licensed nurse with a current practising licence from the relevant nursing council.
• Strong school nursing and school health knowledge.
• Clinical nursing and emergency response skills.
• Knowledge and experience in paediatrics.
• Previous school or paediatric healthcare experience is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• First aid, CPR, and emergency response training.
• Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection standards.
