Accountant

A reputable organisation is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, reconciliations, tax compliance, payroll, reporting, and cash-flow management.

• Maintain financial records, ledgers, journals, and month-end adjustments.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and receivables reconciliations.
• Monitor cash handling, banking, credit sales, and overdue payments.
• Reconcile inventory with physical stock and investigate variances.
• Prepare and remit VAT, WHT, PAYE, Pension, NSITF, and ITF obligations.
• Prepare payroll, management accounts, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts.

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, distribution, wholesale, or trading.
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax and statutory obligations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
• Strong Excel, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
• ICAN/ACCA qualification or active pursuit is an advantage.
• High integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
