Job Summary

DAG Industries Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Manager to design and implement learning strategies that strengthen employee capability, support organizational growth, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The role requires strong collaboration, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution across all levels of the organization.






Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement learning and development strategies aligned with business goals

Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and capability requirements

Design blended learning programs for employees at all levels

Develop competency frameworks, career paths, and leadership development initiatives

Execute annual training calendars and ensure quality delivery of programs

Collaborate with leaders to design specialized manufacturing and safety training

Facilitate workshops and leadership training sessions where required

Design and manage a consistent onboarding framework across locations

Coordinate pre-boarding activities and lead company orientation sessions

Develop structured onboarding schedules for different job levels

Engage stakeholders to align learning priorities and measure training impact

Manage external training vendors and consultants

Measure effectiveness and ROI of programs using data and analytics

Maintain accurate training records, budgets, and outcomes

Leverage LMS and digital tools to deliver and track training

Promote continuous learning, mentorship, coaching, and leadership pipeline development


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology, or a related field

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Learning and Development, HR, or Talent Management

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred

Strong background in designing impactful learning strategies and leadership programs

Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design

Experience with LMS platforms and digital learning tools

Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

Strong analytical and project management abilities

Certification in Learning and Development (CIPM, NITD, SHRM, HRCI etc.) is an added advantage
