Safeguarding Officer

Nutrition International is seeking a Safeguarding Officer to support safeguarding practices and promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment across its programmes and operations.

Support the implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Promote safeguarding awareness across programmes and teams.

Support the identification, reporting, and management of safeguarding concerns.

Provide guidance on safeguarding standards and good practices.

Contribute to safeguarding training, documentation, and reporting.

Work with relevant stakeholders to strengthen safeguarding systems.

Master’s Degree in Sociology, Social Work, Community Development, Gender and Development Studies, Law, or a related field.

Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
