Safety and Security Officer

Nutrition International is seeking an experienced Safety and Security Officer to manage security risks, support emergency response, and ensure safe operations in complex and high-risk environments.

Conduct security risk assessments and monitor emerging threats.

Prepare incident reports and support emergency response.

Plan movements and support operations in high-risk areas.

Provide security briefings and operational guidance.

Build relationships with relevant stakeholders.

Support safe travel and field operations, including remote locations.

Bachelor’s degree in Security, Humanitarian Studies, Development, or a related field.

5+ years’ experience in security, risk advisory, or operational support in complex environments.

Experience in security risk assessments, incident reporting, and emergency response.

Experience with movement planning and high-risk areas.

Strong report-writing, briefing, and relationship-building skills.

Willingness to travel to remote and high-risk locations.

Knowledge of Hausa or another local language is an advantage.
