Procurement / Quantity Surveying Officer

Mshel Construction Limited is seeking a Procurement / Quantity Surveying Officer to manage procurement activities, supplier relationships, cost estimation, quantity surveying, and project cost control within its construction operations.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction projects.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage supplier relationships.
• Manage procurement processes from requisition to delivery, including RFQs and purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and monitor supplier performance and compliance.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and material schedules for construction projects.
• Measure completed work for progress payments and final accounts.
• Validate contractor and supplier claims.
• Support project cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Assist with tender documentation, contract negotiations, and change orders.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and cost estimation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management is an advantage.
