Public Relations Manager

Huawei Technologies Nigeria Limited is seeking a Public Relations Manager to lead media relations, communications and reputation management. The ideal candidate should have strong PR experience, established media connections and a solid understanding of Nigeria’s ICT and telecommunications landscape.

• Manage media relations and build connections with journalists and influencers.
• Develop and execute communications strategies.
• Engage Federal Government ICT regulators and industry stakeholders.
• Create press releases, speeches, articles and other communications content.
• Monitor media coverage and manage crisis communications.
• Build strategic relationships with media, regulators and key stakeholders.
• Drive brand visibility and protect the organisation’s reputation.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in PR, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience in PR and media relations with successful media placements.
• Strong network across Technology, ICT, Finance, Government and Business media.
• Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Good understanding of ICT policies, telecoms regulations and emerging technology trends.
• Experience in crisis communications and reputation management.
